Questions

How do I use JPG to PDF, and what should I check?

Add JPG images, arrange them, and get one PDF. Each JPG is placed on its own page without re-encoding, so the image quality is kept.

Are my images uploaded?

No. The PDF is built by code running in your browser tab. The images never leave your device.

What do the page size options do?

Fit to image makes each page the size of its picture. A4 and US Letter use a fixed page size, and each image is scaled to fit inside it with the margin kept around it. Pages turn to landscape when the image is wider than it is tall.

Are WebP images kept as WebP?

No. PDF does not store WebP, so each WebP image is converted to PNG before it is added. The conversion keeps transparency but the file gets larger.

Why does a large image produce a big PDF?

JPG and PNG data is copied into the PDF as it is, so the file is about as big as the images added together. Resize the images first if you need a smaller file.
