Resize image
Resize JPG, PNG or WebP images by width and height in pixels or by percentage. Batch resize multiple files. Nothing is uploaded.
How it works
- 1Choose one or more images.
- 2Pick pixels or percentage. For pixels, set a width, a height, or both.
- 3Run the resize and download each file, or all of them as a ZIP.
About this tool
Set a new width and height in pixels, or scale by a percentage. JPG, PNG and WebP files keep their original format, and several files download together as a ZIP.
Questions
What does keep aspect ratio do?
With it on, the image keeps its proportions. Set only a width and the height follows, or the reverse. If you set both, the image is scaled to fit inside that box.
Does the output keep the same format?
Yes. A JPG stays JPG, a PNG stays PNG and a WebP stays WebP. Use the convert tool to change formats.
Does resizing make the image smaller in file size too?
Usually, because there are fewer pixels to store. The output is not sized to a target, so use the compress tool if you need a specific file size.
Can I make an image larger?
Yes, but enlarging does not add detail. The image is stretched from its existing pixels, so it can look soft.
Are my images uploaded?
No. Resizing runs in your browser tab, so the files stay on your device.
